On 29 April 2026, Professor Michael Weiss presented the Trilogos Method at the Spirituality and Education Special Interest Group (SEDSIG) of the International Network for the Study of Spirituality(INSS). The session brought together an international audience interested in exploring the dynamic relationship between spirituality and education across diverse contexts.
The presentation, titled “The Trilogos Method – Personality Formation & Consciousness Development,” introduced the method as an educational approach situated at the intersection of spirituality, reflective practice, and transformative learning. Rooted in traditions such as transpersonal psychology and parapsychology, and inspired by the Human Potential Movement, the Trilogos Method aims to support individuals in unfolding their human potential throughout the life course.
THE PRESENTATION
During the 20-minute talk, Professor Weiss outlined the theoretical foundations of the method, its pedagogical structure, and its application in educational and professional settings. Particular attention was given to current research exploring participants’ lived experiences—especially processes of meaning-making, personal transformation, and the cultivation of awareness.
The presentation was followed by an engaging group discussion within SEDSIG, reflecting the group’s broad interests spanning formal education, community initiatives, and professional development. The exchange highlighted a growing interest in integrative approaches that bring spirituality into dialogue with contemporary educational theory and practice.
